HISTORY
Union Hair Co.’s origins date back to 1994. That’s when Sadie and Ronaldo Marquez met at Vidal Sassoon Academies. Three years later they got married, and later had a daughter who is now college-bound. In 2017 the Marquez’s more than 55 combined years of hair styling, beauty, and business experience culminated with the establishment of their own hair salon – Union Hair Co. Now this power couple offers its hair styling consultation and services to ladies and gentlemen throughout the Valley from their intimate, relaxing and bright Uptown Central Phoenix urban loft salon.

Sadie Marquez

Sadie brings more than 30 years of hair styling, teaching, and beauty product formulation experience to Union Hair Co. and she has impacted some of the world’s most fashion-forward meccas: New York City, Los Angeles, London, Munich, Sydney, Tokyo, and more. Sadie has styled hair for national television commercials, fashion week, and other top fashion, style and beauty events throughout the world. A former Vidal Sassoon Academies Creative Director, Sadie has trained thousands of the next generation of Sassoon Team stylists in basic through advanced techniques in its Beginners Diploma and Postgraduate programs. In 2000, Sadie was recruited by Elan Sassoon, Vidal Sassoon’s son, to formulate his line of hair care products. More recently, Sadie partnered up with beauty product expert Rob Guimond to create HairPHix, an innovative 100% Certified Organic GMO free hair care line formulated with plant stem cells. HairPHix is sold at nearly 200 salons in the United States and Canada, including Union Hair Co.

Ronaldo Marquez

Ronaldo brings more than 25 years of hair styling experience to Union Hair Co.

Like Sadie, Ronaldo comes from the ranks of Vidal Sassoon. His career began in 1994 at the brand’s Santa Monica, California school and then salon.

At the request of Vidal Sassoon, Ronaldo moved to Phoenix, Arizona to work for its Sassoon Salon in Scottsdale in 1995, where he styled some of the most prominent Valley men and women for more than 22 years.

Now Ronaldo brings his innovation and creativity to Union Hair Co.
